Yoko has given us a few cooking lessons throughout the year and tonight was Omurisu. This is a popular dish in Japan and consists of rice wrapped in egg - kind of like an omlet. It was surprisingly easy to make with hardly any ingreients needed. Of course you can add extra things to it - we just made the basic recipe which was delicious!!
Yoko doing her magic.
Mixing the onion, chicken, rice and tomato sauce together.
The hardest thing about making this meal was flipping the egg. Yoko tried to teach me but i don’t think that I did a very good job. She managed to somehow fix everyone to make it look appealing :-) Here is the end product.
This is definitley a meal that I will be attempting back at home. We’ll see how my flipping goes. It can only get better hey??!!
