Aerobics - No More!

27th November, 2007

As I mentioned previously Marie and I started up aerobics classes at the community centre. When we first began we only got around 13 people, but week by week the numbers grew and we ended up with between 20 and 30 people each week. It was fantastic to see so many Japanese people regularly attend our sessions.

Everyone that attended the last session.

On the day of our last class they put together a mini party for us. Everyone bought cakes to share and they gave us flowers to show us their appreciation. It was very nice and very sweet of them to go to all that trouble for us. We felt like celebrities. They all wanted to take their photo with us and they kept thanking us over and over again! It was a nice way to end our last session.

All the food we had to eat.

This was a delicious cake that one of the ladies made for us. It had mine and Marie's name on it.

Marie and I also received these beautiful flowers each.

After the aerobics party a group of us came back to the residence to eat a yummy curry that Lauren had cooked for us.
