Lauren and I had the day to ourselves as Steve and Marie were away so we decided to have an easy day and go and do some exploring. We had seen a cemetery near one of our local supermarkets and decided to head up that way and check out the area. So we hopped on our bikes and went on out way. Well we stumbled across an amazing area. I’m not sure what it was exactly but just around the cemetery were many shrines. We really liked it as it was very peaceful and we were pretty much the only ones there. We just took our time wondering around, taking in the beautiful scenery and taking some photos. It’s really cool to think that we have been living in Himeji for one year and there are still things that need to be discovered.Some cool lanterns

It was so beautiful there but it makes me sad to realise there is still so much to be discovered and we only have 2 more months :(
