We were invited to the community centre near our residence so that they could give us all a yukata. It was very nice of the community to offer us all a free yukata. We were all required to give a speech and then we were lucky enough to experience a magic show. Some Japanese ladies were very excited to perform the magic show for us. It was a little bit amateur but it was fun to watch. They had some good tricks.
After the magic show we were given our yukata. There were quite a few to choose from - a lot were a little too short for us but they were ok.

That was so nice of the community to organise an event like that. I really enjoyed the afternoon there. It was fun seeing everyone dressed up in a yukata!
